Seriously damaged hard drives can be a real challenge but recovery is still possible

Save My Drive and its network of qualified expert partners has access to CleanRooms.(see F.A.Q. section for definition) It is there that the processes of opening the physical drive takes place. It is also there that we can replace some of the microscopic parts required to make the drive accessible again. Almost all of the hard drive manufacturers recognize our expertise in the field, and therefore do not invalidate drives which are opened up by us and are still under warranty. Save My Drive, uses only specified original replacement parts. This is our quality assurance guarantee to you, our customer.

Through our network of partners Save My Drive has access to unique facilities, called "CleanRooms", to open up your drive. Hardware manufacturers world wide entrust us to replace parts, all the while keeping the drive's warranty valid.

Helpful Hints Typically when hard disks are about to fail they emit a "clicking" or "knocking" sound. At this point, if you could immediately shutdown the system and not attempt to power it back up in order to attempt your own recovery, the chance of saving your data is good. You need to know that a hardware disk failure warrants a hardware fix and no amount, or type. of recovery software will be of any help at this stage. In fact, by attempting your own recovery, most often, it results in irreversible data loss.
